Annual Inspections
Regardless of how often your fall arrest system is utilized, OSHA mandates the system undergo a documented inspection on an annual basis.
Fall arrest roof anchor systems are exposed to tremendous working loads when in use and over time require routine maintenance to remain in top working order. In addition to regular use, weather, accidental damage, and improper use can also have significant adverse effects on even the most robust system. Building owners and property managers are required by law to ensure these systems are sound and in working order. Verifiable documentation of OSHA regulation compliance needs to be up-to-date and readily available for any personnel utilizing the system as well as any inspectors conducting compliance spot checks.
